Child Health And Parenting Service
Supports families and young parents through individual consultations and assessment of infants' growth and development.
Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS) provides:- child health, growth and developmental assessments including Healthy Kids Checks); and parent support and information.Services Include:
- Child and Family Health Nurses working in Child Health Centres, Child and Family Centres, Community Health Centres or district hospitals;
- Walker House Parenting Centre (by referral from a Child and Family Health Nurse);
- The 24 hour Parent Line - 1300 808 178; and
- cu@home program for first time parents aged 15-19 years of age (commencing around 30 weeks gestation).
